Highlights from our Asia Practice

As the effects of the pandemic diminished in 2022, Asia remained a relatively steady spot navigating new challenges amidst a turbulent global economy. Loeb & Loeb’s Hong and Beijing offices witnessed a busy year with numerous representations and deals spanning its core focus areas in this region, including capital markets, corporate, commercial finance, intellectual property (IP), and litigation and dispute resolution. In the past year, we continued to build our thriving operations in Asia and remained committed to growth and expansion in the region.

The firm boosted its disputes capabilities with seasoned Litigation partner Terence Wong joining the Hong Kong office in August 2022. With this key lateral addition, the firm was able to deepen the international commercial arbitration and mediation services it offers to its regional and international clients across leading arbitration forums, as well as representation in court proceedings. Loeb also continued to strengthen its corporate capabilities with the strategic addition of Henry Yin as the chair of Asia M&A and Technology Transactions in early 2023.
