Thirteen attorneys from Loeb & Loeb’s Chicago office have been selected for inclusion in the 2017 Illinois “Super Lawyers” and “Rising Stars” lists. Each year, no more than 5 percent of attorneys in Illinois are selected as “Super Lawyers.” “Rising Stars” – a category which recognizes top, up-and-coming attorneys who are either 40 years of age or under, or who have been practicing law for ten or fewer years – honors just 2.5 percent of practicing lawyers.
Loeb & Loeb’s 2017 Illinois Super Lawyers honorees include: Andrew DeVooght (Business Litigation), Thomas Jirgal (IP), Adam Kelly (IP), Jeremy Margolis (Criminal Defense: White Collar), Douglas Masters (IP), Nerissa Coyle McGinn (IP) and Andrew Smith (IP).
The firm’s 2017 Illinois Rising Stars include: Nathan Hole (Media/Advertising), Melaina Jobs (IP), Seth Rose (Media/Advertising), Emily Stone (Criminal Defense: White Collar), Jonathan Thielbar (IP) and William Voller, III (IP Litigation).
Selections for this list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, an affiliate of Thomson Reuters. The multi-phase selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, and a peer review.
