Shaun Tho advises global clients on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity matters, and also maintains a broad corporate and commercial practice.
Shaun has experience advising on privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters from different perspectives.
Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Shaun was privacy counsel at a Fortune 500 multinational fast food corporation, where he advised key business and legal stakeholders regarding privacy-related matters. He also conceptualized, drafted and oversaw the execution of a comprehensive privacy framework spanning the entire organization, including the development and implementation of internal policies tailored to effectively comply with privacy regulations across various jurisdictions.
Shaun also has prior experience working in the Privacy, Data Protection and Cybersecurity practice of one of Singapore’s largest law firms, where he advised clients on the full spectrum of privacy, data protection and cybersecurity issues, including assisting clients in managing and responding to security breaches and advising clients on their obligations with respect to data protection laws. During his time in his previous firm, Shaun was also seconded to Singapore’s data protection regulator, where he advised on enforcement and policy issues related to privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity.
Apart from privacy, data protection and cybersecurity matters, Shaun also maintains a broad corporate and commercial practice, and has advised global clients on, amongst others, complex public and private mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate matters.
