Loeb Advises Grimmway Farms in Teays River Acquisition

Loeb & Loeb represented family shareholders in the sale of their ownership interests in Grimmway Farms, the largest carrot producer in the world, in its acquisition by Teays River Investments, LLC. Family-owned Grimmway Farms is a leader in the organic vegetable space, growing over 65 vegetables across seven different states.

The Loeb deal team was led by partner and co-chair of the firm’s Capital Markets and Corporate practice Arash Khalili, and included partners Joon Hur, Shahrooz Shahnavaz, Marla Aspinwall, and Allen Hubsch, as well as associates Ed Lee and Mike Grossman.

The transaction marks another success for Loeb’s burgeoning emphasis on the Health and Wellness industry.
