概述

Brandon Zamudio maintains a broad entertainment and intellectual property law practice for clients in film, television, theater, publishing and music, including studios, networks, producers, authors and artists.

He serves as day-to-day production counsel and provides strategic legal guidance on copyright, trademark and right of publicity issues. His practice includes structuring and negotiating deals across all stages of content development, production and distribution, both domestic and international, including underlying rights, co-production, investment, financing, author and talent agreements. Fluent in Spanish, he also advises clients on entertainment matters in the Spanish-language market.

Beyond his transactional and counseling practice, Brandon has experience in copyright, trademark, defamation and contract litigation, as well as global trademark prosecution and IP enforcement. He also has firsthand in-house experience, including a client secondment at a major motion picture and television studio, where he advised on underlying rights, chain of title, remake/sequel rights, copyright termination and WGA separated rights.

To support his clients, Brandon brings a deep industry perspective to his practice, having worked as a theatre producer on and off Broadway, as well as in business-side roles at The Walt Disney Studios.

Outside his legal practice, Brandon is an associate board member of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a member of The Copyright Society, and a fellow of The Broadway League.
