Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Victor Chen to the firm’s Los Angeles office where he joins as a partner in the Capital Markets and Corporate department.
“With over 20 years of experience advising on strategic investments and complex corporate transactions, Victor brings invaluable insight that strengthens our capabilities and supports our continued expansion in the private equity space,” said Arash Khalili, co-chair of Loeb & Loeb and co-chair of the firm’s Capital Markets and Corporate department. “Bolstering our platform in Los Angeles is particularly important for us as we continue to see increased deal activity.”
Chen, who was based in Hong Kong before joining Loeb’s Los Angeles office, has extensive experience advising clients on both domestic and cross-border investments and acquisitions. He represents leading private equity sponsors, corporations and institutional investors on their cross-border mergers and acquisitions and investments, including leveraged buyouts, take-private transactions, private investments in public equity, joint ventures and growth equity investments.

Chen has been consistently recognized in the Chambers Greater China guide as a leading lawyer in the “Private Equity: Buyouts & Venture Capital Investment (International Firms)” category. The Legal 500 Asia Pacific guide has also noted him as one of the “prominent names in the Asia private equity scene,” highlighting his ability to “think outside the box” and “find novel solutions.”
