Loeb Represents Record Producer Mike Dean in Partnership with Sony Music Publishing

Loeb & Loeb represented seven-time Grammy award-winning record producer, mixer and songwriter Mike Dean in negotiating his new strategic partnership with Sony Music Publishing.

Under this new pact, Sony will administer Mike’s publishing catalog and work as a strategic partner with Mike to develop his publishing company, M.W.A. 

Simultaneously with the Sony negotiations, Loeb & Loeb also represented M.W.A. in negotiating publishing agreements with Sean Solymar, Tommy Rush and Sage Skolfield, the first signees under M.W.A.’s new partnership with Sony.

With a diverse career spanning over 40 years, Mike Dean has helped shape the success of today’s most influential artists. Mike’s music success stretches back to the late 1980s with Tejano legend Selena, followed by groundbreaking hip-hop production work in the early 1990s with Rap-A-Lot Records and Scarface. Over the years, Mike has become a go-to collaborator for major artists such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Swedish House Mafia, Lana Del Rey, Rihanna and Alicia Keys. Mike is most well-known for his work with Kanye West on his award-winning albums like Late Registration, Graduation, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Life of Pablo and Donda, as well as his collaborations with Travis Scott and The Weeknd.
