Loeb & Loeb represented Omega Yeast Labs LLC, a leader in the craft-brewing liquid yeast market in the United States, in its acquisition by AB Mauri North America, the global yeast and bakery ingredients division of Associated British Foods.
The transaction was completed on August 14, 2024. Omega Yeast Labs will complement AB Mauri’s existing fermentation business, AB Biotek, which provides specialty yeast solutions to the beverage and food industries worldwide. Omega Yeast Labs has an extensive portfolio of yeast strains across a wide variety of craft brewing styles, from traditional lagers and ales to West Coast IPAs, hard seltzers and beyond.
