Loeb & Loeb represented Little Ray Media, a multimedia company founded by Mallory Edens specializing in film, TV/digital, podcast and social media messaging, in its financing of “Bad Genius,” the upcoming English-language remake of the 2017 hit Thai film “Chalard Games Goeng (Bad Genius).” Edens is also an Executive Producer of the picture, which is being produced by Picturestart and Picture Perfect Federation.
According to Deadline, the feature film is set to begin production in May 2023 and has pre-sold to an abundance of major distribution partners, including Australia (NZ Roadshow), France (Metropolitan), Germany (Constantin) and Italy (Leone), among others. The English remake is billed as a high-stakes, high-octane thriller about a diverse group of young people who team up to fight the system of injustice and inequity and take down the rigged academic institutions around them.
