Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of corporate partner Henry Yin, who will join the firm as chair of Asia M&A and Technology Transactions, based out of the firm’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices. Yin joins with significant experience in global cross border transactions, complex public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, and other corporate matters in China, the U.S. and globally.
Clients including investors, founders and financiers have turned to Yin for counsel on cross-border/outbound investments, private equity, venture capital and growth investments, joint ventures, private investments in public equity (PIPE) deals, financings, and going-private transactions.

Yin also advises family offices, founders, significant shareholders and corporate clients in negotiated or contested complex transactions, corporate governance matters, boardroom and transaction strategies, ESOP matters, competitive bidding process and other technology transactions. His practice spans a broad range of industries, including technology, life sciences, film, media, financial services, education, manufacturing, fintech, logistics, blockchain, real estate, pharmaceuticals and infrastructure.

Yin, a native Mandarin speaker started his legal career in the New York office of Skadden before moving back to Asia and practicing as a partner with leading international law firms. Prior to joining Loeb, Yin was a partner at Cooley LLP and head of its corporate practice in Beijing. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of International Relations. He is a China Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
