Loeb Receives 2021 “Tipping the Scales” Award From the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance

Loeb & Loeb is proud to announce that the firm has been honored with the 2021 “Tipping the Scales” award by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance in its 2021 New Partner Report. The recognition distinguishes firms that have 50% or more women in their new partner class, recognizing their commitment to the advancement of women.

Loeb was presented with the award during the Alliance’s virtual 2021 Annual Conference, “Reflect. Reimagine. Recalibrate. Paving the Way to Inclusive Flexibility.” on November 3. The “Tipping the Scales” recognition is awarded to firms with a focus on gender equity, particularly at the partner level, which exemplifies a firm’s continuous work towards equity, diversity and inclusion. Of the nearly 200 law firms researched by the Alliance in this year’s report, only 67 firms had 50% or more women in their new partner class.

Conceived in 2012, the New Partner Report is an annual examination of publicly released data pertaining to partnership promotion from the highest-grossing and largest law firms in the U.S., with a particular focus on the gender breakdown of new partners.
