Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Andrei Sirabionian as a partner in the Capital Markets & Corporate Department in the firm’s New York office. Sirabionian advises both foreign and domestic clients on a full spectrum of public and private securities transactions, including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and other capital markets transactions. Sirabionian also frequently represents his clients in corporate governance and compliance matters.
“We have seen a significant uptick in activity over the past year across all capital markets transactions, and we expect this trend to continue,” said Mitchell Nussbaum, vice chair of Loeb & Loeb and co-chair of its Capital Markets & Corporate Department. “Our SPAC practice, in particular, has been a leading practice over the course of the past 20 years and is one of the preeminent SPAC practices in the country. We look forward to Andrei joining our team and strengthening our capital markets platform.”
Sirabionian represents issuers, underwriters and investors on transactions including initial and secondary public offerings, SPAC offerings and acquisitions, and Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings of equity and debt, among other areas. He also advises public companies with respect to ’34 Act reporting requirements, stock exchange rules and ongoing securities law compliance.
“Andrei’s experience spans a broad range of industries, and his skill set will be a valuable resource as we continue to see our capital markets platform grow,” said Laurie Ruckel, managing partner of Loeb’s New York office. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our New York office.”
Sirabionian counsels clients in the shipping, entertainment, software and payments industries, among others. He also represents investors and issuers in private placement financing transactions, including PIPE transactions, and has handled mergers resulting in combined entities valued in the billions.
“Loeb & Loeb has a stellar reputation and has built a thriving capital markets practice,” said Sirabionian. “I look forward to jumping in and getting to work with this exceptional team.”
Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb, Sirabionian worked in the New York City office of Seward & Kissel LLP. He earned his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
