It’s no secret that as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the doubled transfer tax (estate, gift and GST) exemption that taxpayers have enjoyed since 2018 is set to expire in 2026. That seems like a long time from now, but, in the estate planning space for affluent clients, that is a blink of an eye. During this session, Bill, Chris and Todd will discuss what affluent clients are doing to maximize the use of the increased exemption and some of the wealth transfer techniques are utilizing to do so. Of course, they will also discuss how life insurance is incorporated as part of these plans.
