The spread of COVID-19 has impacted various elements of our lives. While many working adults have been navigating the adjustment to working from home, those who are parents may also be faced with having their children's education shifting to at-home as well. Parents also often face the dilemma of wanting to keep kids engaged while also needing to do other things, like accomplish tasks and participate in work meetings.
To help, below is a list of websites that we have compiled for parents to aid in managing at-home learning for children. Many of the resources are free while some require paid subscriptions.

Discovery Education — Discovery Education provides digital curriculum and textbooks for students K – 12.

BrainPop — They provide over 1,000 short animated movies for students in grades K – 12 that are combined with quizzes and related materials covering the subjects of science, social studies, English, math, engineering and technology, health, and arts and music.
English and Foreign Language Lessons
Rosetta Stone — The language learning provider has made their courses free to students for three months.
Duolingo — Free language lessons.
Quill — Free writing and grammar activities for children grades K – 12.
Pobble 365 — A daily image is published as a basis for creative writing. Story starters, questions and drawing ideas are provided to help students get started.
Purple Mash — Each week, a selection of daily activities is produced on different subjects, including comprehension and grammar.
Best Reading Apps for Kids and Teens — Some of the reading apps for kids on this list help them learn important skills, while others provide libraries of books for storytime or independent reading. Either way, these apps support reading in a meaningful and engaging way that kids will enjoy.
Awesome Websites for Practicing Reading — A list of the best reading websites out there that are intuitive and fun for practicing reading.
Unite For Literacy Online Library — Provides free access to more than 400 original picture books, one fourth of them written in Spanish. The digital books provide audio narrations in more than 40 languages, spoken by native speakers.

Tynker — Tynker is a platform for children that integrates coding education for children as young as 5. It integrates logic problems, STEM projects, and code with kids’ interests – like Minecraft, Barbie, Legos, Hotwheels, etc. into over 3,700 learning modules.
Code.org — Learn computer science with lessons suitable for children from grade K – 12.
Physical and Mental Health-Focused
Cosmic Yoga — Yoga, mindfulness and relaxation for kids. Interactive adventures that build strength, balance and confidence.
Super Movers — A collaboration between the BBC and the Premier League, with plenty of resources to help get kids moving, even in limited spaces.
PE with Joe — 30-minute PE classes available.
Go Noodle — GoNoodle videos get kids moving to be their strongest, bravest, silliest, smartest, bestest selves. Over 14 million kids each month are dancing, stretching, running, jumping, deep breathing, and wiggling with GoNoodle.
