Devin Donohue is a seasoned trial lawyer who focuses his practice on litigating and arbitrating sophisticated commercial, trade secret and employment cases in federal and state court and before various arbitration tribunals (JAMS, AAA and FINRA). With over 25 years of experience representing some of the largest financial institutions in the world, Devin has become a “go to” trial attorney for banks, broker-dealers, investment firms and mortgage companies. He has served as lead trial counsel representing these companies and their employees and officers in more than 500 court matters and arbitrations. Many of these matters settle early with his careful marshaling of facts and his opponent's knowledge that he will not hesitate to try the matter to completion if his opponent is being unreasonable. Recent results include a confidential arbitration complete victory after a multi-day hearing where Devin’s commercial client was awarded the full amount sought and defensed an 8-figure counterclaim.

In another recent commercial arbitration matter, Devin obtained a finding of fraud against his client’s opponent after a weeklong hearing while all of the fraudster’s counterclaims were dismissed in their entirety. Over his career, Devin has achieved many of these same types of results for his other financial institution clients. Devin is currently co-leading the Loeb team in a high stakes wage & hour class action that will be set for jury trial in Orange County, California in 2025. Additionally, Devin has served as the lead in numerous internal investigation matters where he has combined his financial services industry knowledge, fact gathering skills and employment law experience to effectively determine the truth and achieve the best results possible for his financial services clients. Finally, Devin has unique experience as a former business owner and managing partner of a successful boutique law firm. In this former role, Devin made many of the same business decisions he now advises his clients on. Devin’s practical and real world perspective on business issues helps his clients examine their disputes and risk more quickly and comprehensively.
