Loeb Advises New Online Bookstore Allstora to Promote Underrepresented Authors

Loeb & Loeb advised Allstora, a new online bookstore dedicated to achieving economic justice for marginalized authors and building community for their readers, in its corporate formation work. Loeb also negotiated on behalf of the company, for Drag Race producer, host and judge RuPaul to join as a co-founder and serve as Chief Creative Officer, providing endorsement services including the curation of a monthly book club.

The Allstora platform features a collection of over 10 million titles. It provides equitable compensation and increased opportunities for LGBTQ+ folks, women, authors of color, as well as emerging and self-published writers.

Allstora was co-founded by LGBTQ+ advocate, Pulitzer Prize finalist and best-selling author Eric Cervini, actor and drag performer Adam Powell, and Emmy Award winner RuPaul.

The Loeb deal team, which spanned the Entertainment, Corporate and Advanced Media & Technology departments, was led by David Manella, and Ann Chen, and included Bess Morgan and Camila Piedrahita Abello.
