Overview
Marina Casani focuses her practice on counseling public and private companies on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly issues arising in the context of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. She also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting employment, termination, severance, retention and consulting arrangements for both corporate and individual clients.
Marina regularly advises clients on the design, implementation and administration of executive compensation and employee benefits arrangements, including stock option and other equity incentive arrangements, cash incentive arrangements, and non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements. She also advises clients on employee benefits related tax issues, including 409A and 280G.
