Loeb Corporate partner Neil Lefkowitz is quoted by The Washington Post in an article discussing a possible affiliation deal between the University of Arkansas system and the University of Phoenix.
“This deal is very complicated,” Neil told the publication. He also expressed that the Education Department would probably request any new owner to provide a letter of credit from a bank to help protect students and taxpayers if the school is unable to cover federal student aid liabilities, which could give lenders pause.
