Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Terence Wong as a partner in Hong Kong. Terence joins the firm’s Litigation department and focuses on international commercial arbitration and other dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation, expert determination and court proceedings.
With more than 20 years of experience in the region, he has handled disputes for clients throughout Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United States of America, Singapore, England, France, Indonesia, the Middle East, Nigeria, Tanzania and Venezuela.
“Terence is a seasoned dispute resolution lawyer with impressive expertise in managing arbitration and mediation issues across a wide range of industries,” said Chris Carbone, co-chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Litigation department. “We are thrilled for him to join our team and to be able to substantially deepen the dispute resolution services we can offer clients internationally.”
Terence is well versed in the arbitration rules of all key arbitration institutions, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LCIA).

Terence joins Loeb & Loeb from Winston & Strawn. He is a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is listed in the Panel of Arbitrators with HKIAC, CIETAC and SHIAC. He has been recognized in leading legal directories, including Chambers Asia-Pacific, China Business Law Journal, Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific, Best Lawyers and Acritas. Terence received both a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
