New York, NY (April 19, 2021) — Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Janeane Ferrari as a partner in the Capital Markets & Corporate Department in the firm’s New York office. Ferrari brings more than a decade of experience representing clients on a full spectrum of public and private securities offerings and other capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings, consent solicitations, and tender and exchange offers.
“Our nationally recognized Capital Markets practice has been extremely active this past year, particularly our special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) practice; and as we continue to expand our team to meet demand, we are thrilled to welcome Janeane into the fold. Janeane has handled many high-stakes deals valued in the billions for major companies. She will be a wonderful addition to our team,” said Mitch Nussbaum, vice chair of Loeb & Loeb and co-chair of the firm’s Capital Markets & Corporate Department.
Ferrari has represented numerous high-profile issuers, including U.S. and non-U.S. companies; underwriters, such as global investment banks and multinational financial institutions; and private equity companies and sponsors. She is also a well-seasoned adviser on SEC filings, reporting obligations, corporate governance and other corporate matters.
“Janeane’s knowledge and experience in the capital markets and corporate space are the perfect complement for our team. We are proud to welcome her to Loeb,” said Laurie Ruckel, managing partner of Loeb’s New York office.
“Loeb & Loeb is widely recognized as a leader in the capital markets space,” said Ferrari. “I look forward to working alongside this talented group of attorneys.”
Ferrari is the eighth partner to join Loeb & Loeb in 2021 and the fourth Capital Markets & Corporate partner alone. Her arrival comes directly on the heels of the addition of Alex Weniger-Araujo and Andrei Sirabionian in the firm’s New York office and Lynia Lau in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Ferrari joins the firm from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. She earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.B.A. in finance and international law from the George Washington University School of Business.
