Loeb & Loeb Ranks Among Top Firms for Protection of Trademarks in 2011

Loeb & Loeb LLP was recognized as a leading law firm with respect to trademark protection in 2011 based on the number of trademark oppositions that the firm filed on behalf of brand owners before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (TTAB), according to the annual compilation of filings produced by Towergate Software, an IP data mining specialist.

In 2011, Loeb & Loeb handled TTAB filings on behalf of many of the country’s best known brands, including Anheuser-Bush, HBO, National Collegiate Athletic Association and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, among others. Last year, the firm was also selected as the 2011 “U.S. Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year – West” by Managing Intellectual Property magazine, a distinction that it was also awarded in 2008 and 2009.

Loeb & Loeb’s Intellectual Property Protection Practice provides a full range of transactional and litigation services, including litigation before federal and state courts, and before administrative bodies such as the TTAB. Attorneys in the practice help clients establish, acquire, and protect, as well as develop and implement strategies to manage their IP portfolios.
