Counseled American Standard Energy Corporation in Dispute Against Former Officer

Represented American Standard Energy in a suit against one of its former officers, ASEN co-founder Randall Capps and two of Mr. Capp’s companies. Plaintiffs asserted that the defendants committed fraud, breach of contract, and breach of their fiduciary duty in connection with the sale of property that ASEN did not have complete title to. This dispute follows Loeb’s successful $50 million reorganization of ASEN in U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.
