Robert Catalano is an experienced trial attorney focusing on complex business litigation, with a particular emphasis on disputes involving real property. He is well-versed in litigating claims related to the interpretation and enforcement of real estate-related contracts, partnership and limited liability company agreements, commercial leases, real estate purchase and sale agreements, title insurance coverage, easement rights, and lender liability disputes.
In addition to his real estate litigation practice, Robert handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters for health insurance providers, third-party administrators and other clients in the health care industry. His diverse litigation experience also extends to the prosecution and defense of claims involving copyright and other intellectual property.
Robert has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He has argued appellate matters before the California Courts of Appeal, and has been involved in appellate proceedings at the federal level, including at the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also been involved in pro bono work in the areas of immigration law and elder abuse.
