Loeb & Loeb LLP, led by Hong Kong partners Lewis Ho and Michael Fung, represented leading PRC-based sportswear enterprise Xtep International Holdings Limited (SEHK: 01368.HK) in forming a joint venture with Wolverine World Wide, Inc. (NYSE: WWW). The joint venture will be responsible for R&D, sales and distribution of footwear and apparel under the Merrell and Saucony brands in the Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
In addition to Ho and Fung, the Loeb & Loeb deal team included Alan J. Tarr, Stan Johnson, Jeffrey Kung, Steve S.F. Woo, Arthur T. Yuan and Terry Ko.
Xtep International Holdings Limited is principally engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, sales, marketing and brand management of sportswear, including footwear, apparel and accessories. It has an extensive distribution network of over 6,200 stores nationwide. Its shares are listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is a constituent of MSCI China Small Cap Index, Hang Seng Composite Index Series and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
