About the event:
The MLK Community Health Foundation (MLKCHF) is dedicated to raising and stewarding financial support for Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital and its work in South Los Angeles. We unite community, civic, and philanthropic leaders to invest in healthcare access, nationally recognized quality, and compassionate care. Since 2012, MLKCHF has funded a best-in-class Advanced Care Program, Nurse Training, Maternal Child Health Services, Innovations in Healthcare, and more. Our work includes the recently dedicated Hope Emergency Center. In partnership with our supporters, we bring healthcare to thousands of patients and families in our community every year.
Joining us this year will be Marian Wright Edelman, humanitarian, activist, and president and founder of the Children’s Defense Fund.
