Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that the firm has earned Mansfield Certification for the 2023–2024 period from Diversity Lab, underscoring Loeb’s steadfast dedication to promoting an inclusive and equitable workplace. This marks the third consecutive year Loeb has received this distinction. The firm is also actively pursuing certification for 2024–2025, set to conclude in July 2025. Diversity Lab is a renowned incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across the practice of law.
Mansfield is a year-long structured certification process designed to ensure all qualified talent at participating law firms have a fair and equal opportunity to be considered for advancement into leadership roles. The focus is on “opening the door wider” and ensuring that opportunities for advancement are transparent and inclusive for everyone.
“Our repeat certification reflects the firm’s commitment to fostering growth for lawyers from historically underrepresented backgrounds,” said Loeb's Chief People & Inclusion Officer Jennifer Davda. “By embracing and applying this process, we continue to strengthen our inclusive culture and maintain transparency as we guide our lawyers toward leadership roles.”
Loeb fosters community and mentorship for lawyers from historically underrepresented backgrounds through internal programs and affinity groups like ACED (Attorneys of Color and Ethnic Diversity), Black@Loeb, the Women’s LEAD Network (Leadership, Empowerment, Advancement, Development), and Loeb Pride (LGBTQ+), all dedicated to supporting the firm’s diverse and women lawyers.
The firm also engages in various initiatives focused on developing and supporting a pipeline of diverse leaders. Building on our commitment beyond Mansfield certification, the firm joined the Diversity Lab’s Disability Inclusion Commitments in December 2023, pledging to complete the recommended actions and educational components to enhance inclusion and provide equitable access to opportunities for disabled individuals in the legal profession. The firm also actively participates in the Diversity Lab OnRamp Fellowship program, which sets a goal to bring female lawyers who have taken a career hiatus back into the legal profession.
We also are active members of the Legal Council on Leadership Diversity (LCLD), including participating in LCLD’s Fellows and Diversity Pathfinders programs each year, as well as being recognized with its Compass Award and as a Top Performer in 2024. The firm has also been recognized as a “Tipping the Scales” firm by the Diversity Flexibility Alliance for the past three years, which distinguishes Loeb for advancing 50% or more women in the firm’s new partner class.
