Loeb & Loeb is pleased to share that the firm has been named “Law Firm of the Year” by Inland Counties Legal Services (ICLS), a nonprofit legal aid organization providing free legal services to people of limited financial means in Riverside and San Bernardino counties in California. This recognition highlights the firm’s dedication to pro bono volunteerism and support for ICLS’ clients and LGBTQIA+ services program. Loeb & Loeb will be honored at ICLS’ Advocates for Justice 2024 event in Riverside, California, on October 1.
In a press release, ICLS highlights Loeb's instrumental role as a thought partner in several of its pro bono projects, with over 20 volunteers across the firm’s Corporate, Employment & Labor, Litigation, Real Estate, and Trusts & Estates departments contributing nearly 150 hours of service over the past year. In 2023, Loeb helped ICLS launch its first Advance Health Care Directive Clinic for LGBTQIA+ residents, ensuring that gender-diverse individuals can maintain control over their medical decisions and have their identities respected during medical emergencies.
The firm’s lawyers have also volunteered with ICLS’ Small Business Clinic and provided vital organizational support, helping ensure that the nonprofit is well-equipped to meet the needs of its communities. In addition, Loeb helped enhance ICLS’ operational strategies, strengthened its infrastructure and supported employee welfare.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from ICLS,” said Loeb Pro Bono Director Meredith Madnick. “Our commitment to pro bono work is a core part of who we are, and it is incredibly fulfilling to see our efforts make a tangible impact on the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing our partnership with ICLS to expand access to crucial legal support for those in need throughout the Inland Empire.”
