Jessica Lee, chair of Loeb & Loeb’s Privacy, Security & Data Innovations practice, is quoted in an article published by the International Association of Privacy Professionals discussing the anticipated finalization of the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) regulations, which have recently been pushed back again.
According to the article, covered entities have expressed concerns about compliance since the CPRA is set to take effect on January 1st without the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) finalizing regulations. Jessica suggested companies to “take the regulations as they are now and work to implement with the risk that there could be more change.”
