Loeb & Loeb Named in Asia Business Law Journal's 2021 SPAC Super League Tables

Loeb & Loeb has been named among the top 20 legal advisers representing Asia-related SPAC issuers and underwriters in the 2021 Super League of Top Asia-Related SPAC Legal Advisers by Asia Business Law Journal. The journal’s league table ranks the top SPAC legal advisers by overall value and volume. The table is then broken down into two tables: (1) top advisers to issuers by volume and value; and (2) top advisers to underwriters by value and volume. 

Specifically, the firm advised on three Asian SPAC issues, with a deal value totaling $140 million. Loeb also tied for second place on the issuer league table for deal volume.

To identify Asian SPACs, Asia Business Law Journal examined the S1 filings made by SPACs with the U.S. SEC to identify the sponsors and their proposed business. Analysts compiled all the SPACs that have an Asian connection, studied their listings and identified the law firms advising on these deals. The publication then ranked them on the basis of their roles by deal count and aggregate deal value.
