Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Jennifer (Ganesh) Davda as the firm’s first chief diversity officer. Based in the Los Angeles office, Davda will work closely with firm leadership to continue to build upon the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I).
“We are a people-driven business, so ensuring greater diversity across our organization is critical to absolutely everything we do,” said Ken Florin, chairman of Loeb & Loeb. “We need to ensure our firm represents the diversity of the clients we serve and the communities we represent. We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer. Her impressive capabilities will help us reach our goal of advancing diversity at all levels.”
With more than 15 years of experience working in DE&I both as a lawyer and as a diversity and inclusion professional, Davda has founded and led programs that have supported the recruitment, retention and advancement of individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds in the legal profession. She has championed global strategies aimed at building more inclusive teams and helped design initiatives to propel diverse lawyers into the leadership and partnership ranks.
“Loeb has made a lot of great progress over the past few years, but the desire to do even more is tangible,” said Davda. “I am excited to build on what is already in place and work with leadership on implementing innovative strategies that will further benefit the firm, our clients and our own people.”
Davda joins Loeb & Loeb from a leading AmLaw 10 firm, where she was the director of diversity. Before that, she held a variety of DE&I leadership roles at other AmLaw firms and was a practicing lawyer. Davda earned a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
Loeb & Loeb is a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), from which the firm received a “Top Performer” award for participation in LCLD programs and activities. Loeb also received a perfect score on the Human Right’s Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and is currently pursuing Mansfield certification.
