Loeb & Loeb Names New CFO and CIO

LOS ANGELES AND NEW YORK – Law firm Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today two changes in the senior management team. Scott Cotie has been named Chief Financial Officer and Patricia Anne O’Hara has been named Chief Information Officer of the firm. They will be based in Loeb & Loeb’s Los Angeles and New York offices, respectively.

As members of the firm’s senior management team, both Cotie and O’Hara will work closely with Loeb & Loeb’s Chief Operating Officer Alan B. Cutler in their new role. Cotie will direct Loeb & Loeb’s financial functions in keeping with the firm’s strategic objectives. O’Hara’s responsibilities will include managing information and software development for the firm, particularly addressing the implementation of new and emerging technologies and applications.

Patti brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to this position that will further our strategic goals in knowledge management and increase our competitive edge in business technology. Cotie, a certified public accountant, joins the firm from the Minneapolis office of law firm Faegre & Benson LLP, where he has served as the Executive Director since 2008. Prior to Faegre, he held CFO positions at Alston & Bird LLP, Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP over the span of approximately 15 years. Cotie earned his Bachelor of Science in Business degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota.

O’Hara joins Loeb & Loeb from Adaptive Solutions, Inc., a nation-wide provider of systems integration and consulting services, where she served as CIO. In that role, she facilitated revenue growth and assured quality services. Functioning as an integral member of the company’s executive management team, she was responsible for the engineering and help desk services teams and offered strategic direction to members of the sales and marketing teams. Before then, she worked for 14 years as the CIO of WolfBlock LLP. O’Hara has a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University.
