In May, New Dramatists will honor the Tony® Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, and ND alumna, Suzan-Lori Parks. This season, Ms. Parks enjoys a particularly dazzling moment in an extraordinary three-decade career. Most recently, Suzan-Lori was represented on Broadway with a critically-acclaimed revival of her Pulitzer-winning Topdog/Underdog, its first Broadway revival since its original run in 2002. Through her honest, expansive storytelling, Ms. Parks has irreversibly enriched the fabric of the American theatre. It is our immense privilege to celebrate her distinguished career and artistry at our first in-person Spring Luncheon since 2019.
