Litigated copyright declaratory judgment action seeking ruling that statutory heirs of the author of the original play "La Cage Aux Folles" were not entitled under Stewart v. Abend to enjoin MGM's continued exploitation of its film "The Birdcage" during the U.S. renewal term of copyright for the underlying play.  Case settled favorably for clients.  Jonathan Zavin and Jacques Rimokh represented MGM.
