Alexandra Sandmann

Alexandra Sandmann is a trademark paralegal with nearly two decades of experience handling all aspects of U.S. trademark prosecution and maintenance, and copyright and domain name portfolio management.

Alexandra’s experience includes preparing, filing and prosecuting domestic applications with the USPTO, handling specimen search and verification, and preparing and filing Office Action responses, ITU-related documents and post registration documents. She also oversees the filing and maintenance of international trademark applications and registrations, regularly corresponding with foreign counsel to obtain the information and documentation necessary to prosecute and maintain clients’ intellectual property.

Alexandra is also well versed in the music industry, having served as the Legal and Business Affairs Manager at Virgin Records America, Inc. before starting her private practice. In her role, Alexandra was responsible for handling all mechanical licensing, including the resolution of royalty disputes, tracking and reporting, obtaining music clearances from publishers and copyright owners, and registering sound recordings and videos with the Copyright Office.
