Loeb & Loeb is pleased to announce the arrival of Harry Valetk to the firm’s New York office where he will be a partner in the Privacy, Security and Data Innovation practice group. Valetk joins Loeb & Loeb with significant experience in advising clients on global privacy and data protection matters across the financial services, retail, pharmaceutical and healthcare, travel and hospitality, cloud technology, and manufacturing industries.
Valetk has worked both in-house and as external advisor to large global companies in their strategic efforts to protect personal data, build out a global Privacy Risk Framework, achieve compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, deploy cross-border data transfer solutions, and manage data and cyber security incidents.

Valetk’s practice focuses on issues including global regulatory implementation readiness for privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). He also works with companies in developing customized and comprehensive incident response plans, trainings, table-top exercises, and advising senior management on liability risk mitigation.
