Loeb is proud to announce that Diara Holmes, co-chair of the firm's Nonprofits & Tax-Exempt Organizations practice and co-chair of the Attorneys of Color and Ethnic Diversity Affinity Group, has been named to the Lawyers of Color’s inaugural 2023 "Wonderful Women" list, which recognizes dynamic women lawyers working in law firms, companies and government agencies across the U.S. who show promise in their careers and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.
The "Wonderful Women" honorees were selected through a two-pronged process. A selection committee, composed of the editorial staff, fellows and advisers, spent months reviewing nominations and researching legal publications in order to identify promising candidates. Lawyers of Color accepted nominations from mentors, peers and colleagues. The team also made editorial picks based on their research of lawyers who had noteworthy accomplishments, giving special attention to candidates who were active in diversity pipeline initiatives.
Diara and her fellow honorees will be profiled in the Lawyers of Color's Hot List 2023 issue and celebrated at a reception in Washington, D.C. on July 18.
