Loeb is pleased to announce that Melanie Howard, chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Protection and Luxury Brands practices and deputy chair of the Advanced Media and Technology department, and Jessica Lee, chair of the Privacy, Security & Data Innovations practice, have been named to the 2023 National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) Rising List. Now in its third year, the award recognizes women lawyers “advancing in their careers, helping others advance in their careers, and/or fighting to advance women under the law.”
Since 1899, NAWL has been empowering women in the legal profession, cultivating a diverse membership dedicated to equality, mutual support and collective success. The Rising List recognition is especially important in highlighting individuals who evoke NAWL’s mission to provide leadership, a collective voice and essential resources to advance women in the legal profession and advocate for the equality of women under the law. Melanie, Jessica and their fellow honorees will be celebrated at the organization’s virtual Mid-Year Meeting on March 16-17.
Melanie Howard’s practice focuses on the acquisition, protection, licensing, exploitation and sale of intangible assets for major brands and individual talent.
