Loeb & Loeb is proud to be recognized for “Tipping the Scales” by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance, based on the Alliance’s 2022 New Partner Report. This recognition, a repeat for Loeb, distinguishes firms that have 50% or more women in their new partner class for the year and recognizes the firm’s commitment to advancing women to the partner level.
Loeb was presented with this award on November 3, 2022, during the Alliance’s annual virtual conference, “Cultivating a Holistic Work Culture: The Power of People, Purpose & Productivity.” The “Tipping the Scales” award recognizes firms that promote gender equity and strive to advance diversity and inclusion within the firm, particularly by promoting women partners each year. Of the 200 law firms researched by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance for its 2022 New Partner Report, only 56 firms had 50% or more women in their new partner class.
Loeb is committed to building and investing in strategic diversity, equity and inclusion efforts that support the advancement of historically underrepresented groups of diverse and women lawyers to leadership, governance and equity positions. The “Tipping the Scales” recognition comes on the back of an announcement about Loeb’s
Mansfield 5.0 certification by Diversity Lab and the firm’s continued participation in the next level 6.0 certification to be completed in 2023. Loeb also participates in the
OnRamp Fellowship program, dedicated to bringing female lawyers back after a career hiatus, and the firm has internal affinity groups that support its own women lawyers.
The Alliance’s New Partner Report celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022 and is a yearly compilation and examination of publicly released data, with particular attention paid to gender breakdown of newly promoted partners, from the largest and highest-grossing law firms in the United States.
