Loeb & Loeb Associate turned Trusts & Estate Partner Ashley Sawyer, discusses the path to partnership, the importance of mentorship and growth opportunities. “I came to Loeb as senior associate and I immediately felt like I was a part of the team. Over the three to four years between when I joined the firm and when I actually made partner, there were partners that really took me under their wing and started to involve me in their clients matters, they involved me in the billing process. If I had an integral part in bringing that client in they would allow me to be the point person for contact. So I felt the transition from associate, to senior counsel, to partner as seamless,” Ashley said.
In speaking about Loeb’s ability to provide mentorship to attorneys, Ashley discussed how valuable the mentorship was because it allowed her to feel like she was a part of the firm and had an opportunity to grow. “That mentorship expanded among different partners that I worked with. They would bring me under their wing and help me to grow and feel more confident within my own practice in speaking and working directly with clients and contributing to the firm on different levels,” Ashley concluded.
