NEW YORK, NY – Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that attorney Christopher L. Barbaruolo has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Real Estate Department.

Barbaruolo represents developers, owners, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes the acquisition, disposition, development and management of office, multifamily, retail and mixed-use properties; commercial mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing; acquisition of distressed debt; and joint ventures and restructurings. Barbaruolo’s practice includes counseling institutional lenders in the origination of mortgage debt (including construction and bridge debt) and mezzanine debt. In addition, he represents both landlords and tenants in all areas of commercial leasing and ground lease transactions.

Formerly a partner at Duval & Stachenfeld LLP in New York, Barbaruolo earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. He received his B.A. from Lehigh University.
